IRT Living, Sugar Mill at Lawrenceville, GA, is seeking a Service Technician to perform plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs and assist with apartment turns. This role emphasizes teamwork, customer service, and reliability within a fast-paced environment.

You will inspect properties, complete repairs, and maintain organized work areas while upholding safety standards and codes. Must be able to participate in after-hours on-call rotations and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in property maintenance or related fields (hospitality, construction, skilled trades).
• EPA I & II and CPO certifications preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. regularly and up to 80 lbs. occasionally; move items up/downstairs and push/pull up to 200 lbs. with equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and complete repairs including plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC, and more
• Conduct daily inspections of property grounds, buildings, and common areas to identify maintenance needs
• Assist with apartment turns, including painting, repairs, and general unit preparation for new residents
• Ensure all tools, equipment, and maintenance areas are kept organized and in good condition
• Maintain compliance with safety procedures, building codes, and company policies
• Communicate effectively with residents and team members to provide excellent customer service
• Assist in emergency situations, including after-hours calls, as part of an on-call rotation
• Contribute to a supportive and engaging employment culture
