CSI Support & Development is seeking a Maintenance Technician for an on-site role at a senior housing community in Lawndale, CA. You will perform general cleaning and minor maintenance across units, common areas, and exteriors, ensuring safety and orderliness.
The position requires physical endurance, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and readiness for emergency maintenance duties. Housing is provided in an unfurnished 1-bedroom apartment on site.
Maintenance Technicians perform general cleaning and minor maintenance duties in maintaining the property as assigned by their supervisor. They are responsible to complete all general work orders related to units, communal areas, and exterior maintenance. As well as the performance of all preventative maintenance according to schedule.
Maintenance Technicians will occasionally be required to travel to nearby sister properties to help with occasional emergencies and/or coverages. Emergency response duties are a requirement for this position. Maintenance workers provide assistance to staff, visitors, and other employees as necessary.
Maintenance Technicians ensure that the grounds are attractive, orderly, and healthy. This position is responsible for the overall maintenance of the complex and all areas related to the day-to-day maintenance/operations of the community.

Maintenance Technicians work indoors and outdoors depending on the task and as directed by their supervisor.
Travel may be required between co-ops in the nature of an emergency.
