Kings Row Trailer Park Inc. in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a full-time maintenance technician with a strong plumbing and electrical background to perform installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of building systems.

The role requires 6 years of skilled experience and a valid Nevada Class C driver's license. You will respond to scheduled and emergency requests, troubleshoot issues, coordinate with vendors, and maintain safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with six years of full-time skilled maintenance experience.
• Apprenticeship substituted for four years of required experience when applicable.
• Must possess a valid Nevada Class C driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Respond to scheduled, unscheduled and emergency maintenance requests promptly.

• Perform preventive maintenance on water main and sewer systems.

Minimum Requirements

Education and Experience: Equivalent to graduation from high school AND six (6) years of full-time skilled experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of building operating systems and facilities. Successful completion of a recognized apprenticeship as a plumber, electrician; or facility mechanic or in a related field may be substituted for four (4) years of the required experience. Attendance at a recognized trade school is desirable.

Salary: Hourly pay rate will be based on years of experience and skilled level.

Full-Time Work Schedule: 40+ hours per week.

Working Conditions: Work extended shifts or be called back in emergency situations. Work out of doors in all desert weather conditions.

Licensing and Certification: Must possess a valid Class C Nevada driver's license at time of hire. Certification in a specific building trade is desirable.

Background Investigation: Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation.

Pre-Employment Drug Testing: Employment is contingent upon the results of a pre-employment drug examination. Periodically after employment drug testing may be conducted.

Job Duties

• Respond to scheduled, unscheduled, and emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner.

• Troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance issues and determine appropriate solutions.

• Monitor and perform regular preventive plumbing maintenance to the water main and sewer systems.

• Assist in performing plumbing maintenance and emergencies such as pipes, drains, faucets and showers using methods that include, PVC, CPVC, Copper, PEX, Galvanized Pipe and related fittings.

• Repairs and maintains buildings, common areas and support structures by performing carpentry, masonry, painting, and replacing structural components such as floors, doors, windows, and walls.

• Operates and maintains construction equipment to perform tasks such as hauling, loading, clearing, digging and compacting materials in confined areas with minimal supervision.

• Maintains and services a variety of test equipment and hand and power tools; keeps small inventory of frequently used supplies and hardware.

• Report faulty operations and unusual conditions to management.

• Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors as needed.

• Maintains records of work performed and materials used.

• Maintain clean, safe, and orderly work areas and comply with all safety regulations.

• Drives company vehicles, including forklifts and other equipment.

Physical Demands

Mobility to work in a typical maintenance setting, including operating typical trade equipment, hand and power tools and standard office equipment, and to drive a motor vehicle; stamina to stand, digging in the ground, walk and climb and to work in confined or awkward spaces for an extended period of time; strength to lift and maneuver materials and equipment weighing up to 100 pounds with proper equipment; vision to read printed materials; and hearing and speech to communicate in person or over a radio or telephone.
