KW Property Management LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and minor repairs inside and outside a resident property. You will coordinate with the Property Manager and Building Maintenance Lead to prioritize work, ensure safety, and manage preventive maintenance and daily work orders.
The role requires at least two years of building trades experience, capable emergency response within 30 minutes, and strong communication skills.
The Maintenance Technician will have responsibility for all service-related tasks. This position will report through the Property Management organization, in a dual reporting capacity. They report directly to the Property Manager for prioritizing work, schedules, performance and the Building Maintenance Lead for the quality of work, issue resolution, training, and preventive maintenance execution.

The position will require for the employee to work indoor and outdoors. The position will be located at a property where people reside. Noise level may be moderate to loud.

The employee is required to walk through out the majority of their shift. The position will require the employee to sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 30 pounds or less. The position requires manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures. Position will require employee to climb stairs, climb ladders, work at heights above ground, be able to detect auditory and/or visual emergency alarms. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud on occasion.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a non-exempt (hourly) position. Days and hours of work will be set by the property and will conincide with the hours of the association. This schedule may change to accommodate the business needs of the property.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience
Position Supervision
Employee reports directly to the Chief Engineer/Maintenance Supervisor of the community. If there is no Chief Engineer or Maintenance Supervisor at the site, then employee will report to the Property Manager.
