Job summary

Crosby Energy Services is seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians for field grounding, decommissioning and oil & gas facility maintenance work throughout South Texas.

Join a hands-on crew handling grounding installations, equipment decommissioning and production system relocations while following strict safety procedures and using hand and power tools.

A valid driver's license and ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with oil & gas field or facility maintenance.
• Experience installing grounding rods and equipment preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work.

Responsibilities

• Install and remove grounding rods and equipment.
• Perform grounding work on rigs and field equipment.
• Install, connect, disconnect grounding components.
• Assist with decommissioning of equipment and facilities.
• Relocate and reinstall production equipment and systems.
• Bend and install tubing; install valves and fittings.
• Support system hook-ups and return-to-service activities.
• Operate hand and power tools safely.
• Follow safety rules including LOTO and JSA/JHA.
• Maintain tools and keep work area clean.
• Collaborate with Gang Pusher and crew to complete tasks.

Job description

• Install and remove grounding rods and grounding equipment
• Perform grounding work on drilling rigs, workover rigs, coil tubing units and other field equipment
• Install, connect, disconnect and remove grounding components
• Assist with equipment and facility decommissioning
• Disconnect, remove, relocate and reinstall production equipment and systems
• Bend, route and install tubing
• Disconnect and reconnect tubing, piping and associated components
• Remove and install valves, fittings, flanges and related equipment
• Assist with system hook-ups and return-to-service activities
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools and equipment required to perform field work
• Follow LOTO, energy isolation, JSA/JHA and client-specific safety requirements
• Inspect and maintain tools and equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work closely with the Gang Pusher and other crew members to safely complete assigned work

Requirements

• Previous oil & gas field or facility maintenance experience
• Experience installing and removing grounding rods and grounding equipment strongly preferred
• Experience with facility or equipment decommissioning preferred
• Experience bending and installing tubing
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with field equipment
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work
• Strong commitment to safety and following established procedures
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Must be able to pass required pre-employment screenings
