Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support property operations, perform repairs, and prep vacant units for occupancy across our communities. This on-site role requires a proactive approach, on-call availability, and a commitment to safety and a professional appearance.

The position offers full-time hours with compensation ranging from $21.00 to $24.50 per hour plus benefits, 401K, holidays, and more.

Qualifications

• Experience using hand and power tools for maintenance tasks.
• Ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions.
• Strong communication abilities.
• HVAC, plumbing, and electrical knowledge.
• Prior property maintenance/handyman experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily repair and upkeep of property and prep vacant units.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Ensure required tools are on hand.
• Report unusual circumstances regarding property or residents.
• Maintain professional uniform and appearance.
• Follow OSHA standards and company safety policies.
• Be available for on-call work.
• Secure maintenance shops after hours.
• Remove snow and ice as needed.
• Handle lock-outs and 24-hour service responses.

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician!

Maintenance Technicians Maintain the efficient operation and upkeep of the property buildings and grounds in a supportive role.

Responsibilities Include

• Take responsibility for the daily repair and upkeep of the property and the preparation of vacant units for occupancy
• Maintain and keep an inventory of all supplies and equipment
• Ensure necessary tools are on hand
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents
• Maintain the required property uniform ensuring a professional appearance
• Be aware of and operate within OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times
• Be available to work on an on-call basis
• Secure the maintenance shop(s) at the close of every workday
• Remove snow and ice as necessary
• Handle all lock-outs as a result of evictions and take responsibility for 24-hour response to service requests

Requirements

• Ability to operate various hand tools including power tools
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
• Effective communication skills
• Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical
• Property maintenance/handyman experience

Compensation

Full-Time $21.00 to $24.50 per hour
