Job summary

ZRS Management in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform skilled upkeep of the property, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and turnover tasks.

You will work with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure safe, efficient service and participate in preventive maintenance. On-call hours are required; benefits include health, dental, vision, life insurance, housing discounts, vacation, paid holidays, and a robust 401k plan with employer match.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record & proof of automobile insurance coverage.
• HVAC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance repairs in plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliances.
• Conduct apartment turnover maintenance within 3–5 business days and complete turnover checklists.
• Maintain common areas (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash, pressure washing, windows).
• Monitor exterior for roof, siding, shutters and other issues; support preventive maintenance.

Job Description:The Maintenance Technician’s primary goal is to provide exceptional service to our residents. The Maintenance Technician will work hand-in-hand with the Maintenance Supervisor to provide skilled, efficient and professional service.Through dedication and uncompromised service, this position can be promoted to Maintenance Supervisor. The position of Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Property Manager. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the overall maintenance of the property, including but not limited to:Perform independently technical maintenance repairs to plumbing, electrical, heating, and air conditioning, appliances, and any other aspect as needed.Perform apartment turnover maintenance in three to five business days and turnover checklist completion.
