Job summary

Sealed Air in Texas is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance on production equipment, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and electronic issues, and service drive and PLC systems.

The role requires 2–5 years of industrial maintenance experience and a High School Diploma or GED; you will disassemble and reassemble assemblies, replace parts, and handle other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment preventative maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot machines and equipment breakdowns to diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic problems.
• Disassemble and reassemble machine assemblies and sub-assemblies to perform repairs.
• Replace broken or defective machine and equipment parts.
• Replace faulty electrical components such as relays, switches, motors and position sensing devices.
• Diagnose, repair and replace faulty electronic components like drives and PLCs.
• Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE:

• 2 – 5 years industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment preferred

EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. is preferred. Relevant work experience may be considered in leu of a High School Diploma or G.E.D.
