Job summary

MOJO is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our car wash equipment running. This hands-on role focuses on diagnosing issues, repairing motors, pumps, hydraulics, and controls, and performing preventative maintenance.

You’ll work in a fast-paced, field-based environment with daily hands-on tasks near active equipment, moving between indoor and outdoor sites. Integrity and quick decision-making are essential to keep sites operational.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem solving.
• Basic electrical knowledge (low/high voltage, motor controls a plus).
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, or industrial equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hands-On Maintenance & Repairs (Primary Focus)
• Diagnose and repair equipment issues in real time
• Work on motors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and controls
• Troubleshoot problems quickly and get sites back up and running
• Handle everything from small fixes to larger system repairs
• Preventative Maintenance
• Perform routine service to keep equipment running smoothly
• Catch issues before they turn into downtime
• Troubleshooting & Problem Solving
• Identify root causes—not just quick fixes
• Think on your feet when equipment goes down
• Make decisions in the field to keep operations moving
• Work closely with site teams to keep everything operational
• Communicate clearly about issues and next steps
• Step in where needed—this is a team-first environment
• You’re moving most of the day—this is not a sit-down role
• You’ll work indoors and outdoors, around active equipment
• Some days are smooth. Some days everything breaks at once
• You’ll leave the day knowing exactly what you fixed

Maintenance Technician (Field-Focused, Hands-On Role)

MOJO is building a team of car wash people who take pride in keeping things running. As a Maintenance Technician, your job is simple: Keep the car wash running. Fix what breaks. Prevent what you can. This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role where you’ll be working on equipment daily—not sitting behind a screen. If you like solving problems, working with your hands, and seeing immediate results from your work, this role fits.

What You’ll Be Doing

What We’re Looking For

• Strong mechanical aptitude (you can take things apart and put them back together)
• Basic electrical knowledge (low/high voltage, motor controls is a plus)
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, or industrial equipment preferred
• Welding experience is a plus, not required
• Able to troubleshoot under pressure without overthinking it
• Takes ownership—you don’t wait to be told what to do

Compensation & Benefits

• $25–30/hour

Physical Requirements

• Constant movement throughout the day
