POSITION DESCRIPTION

A Maintenance Technician at SET Environmental is responsible for:

• Troubleshooting facility and production issues due to maintenance or repairs required
• Coordinating maintenance activities with operations to maximize productivity and minimize downtime of critical equipment
• Performing maintenance on light equipment as needed
• Adhering to the Preventive Maintenance program
• Performing weekly, monthly, and annual preventative maintenance tasks on various equipment throughout the production areas of the plant
• Operate a forklift
• Manage tools; maintain in neat and orderly fashion
• Identify situations for initiating the contingency plan and notifying a manager
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as necessary

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma, or equivalent preferred
• Ability to keep and maintain all licenses/certifications current (i.e. 40-hour HAZWOPER, Driver's License, Forklift)
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly
• Ability to climb up and down ladders
• Maintenance or mechanical experience
• General "fix-it" know-how
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to take direction
• Ability to wear proper PPE and to determine proper usage in different situations
• Professionalism required at all times
