POSITION DESCRIPTION
A Maintenance Technician at SET Environmental is responsible for:
- Troubleshooting facility and production issues due to maintenance or repairs required
- Coordinating maintenance activities with operations to maximize productivity and minimize downtime of critical equipment
- Performing maintenance on light equipment as needed
- Adhering to the Preventive Maintenance program
- Performing weekly, monthly, and annual preventative maintenance tasks on various equipment throughout the production areas of the plant
- Operate a forklift
- Manage tools; maintain in neat and orderly fashion
- Identify situations for initiating the contingency plan and notifying a manager
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as necessary
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma, or equivalent preferred
- Ability to keep and maintain all licenses/certifications current (i.e. 40-hour HAZWOPER, Driver's License, Forklift)
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly
- Ability to climb up and down ladders
- Maintenance or mechanical experience
- General "fix-it" know-how
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to take direction
- Ability to wear proper PPE and to determine proper usage in different situations
- Professionalism required at all times
