Job summary

Anheuser-Busch is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support brewery operations. You will repair and maintain equipment used in brewing and packaging, and perform facility maintenance across the plant.

The role requires 5+ years of manufacturing maintenance, strong mechanical and electrical skills, and ability to read manuals and schematics. The shift is 3pm–11pm; health benefits and retirement savings are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Vocational training or associate’s degree.
• 5+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with basic hand tools.
• Troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems.
• Read electrical/mechanical manuals and schematics.
• Math skills: basic math, geometry, algebra.
• Good communication with supervisors and peers.
• Follow safety, health and environmental policies.
• Proficiency with CMMS, Windows and Outlook.
• Electrical construction including conduit.
• Troubleshooting AC & DC drives.
• PLC programming basics and ladder logic.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Repairs, replaces, adjusts, and aligns machinery components.
• Cleans and lubricates parts, equipment, and machinery.
• Performs routine preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Observes electrical and mechanical devices to locate trouble causes.
• Repairs and replaces defective parts; services plant facilities equipment.
• Utilizes CMMS to view work orders, document parts usage and labor hours.
• Welds using stick and TIG for sanitary repairs.
• Other duties as assigned.

This position will work to repair and maintain equipment related to the brewing and packaging process as well as conducting facility maintenance.JOB RESPONSIBILITES:Repairs, replaces, adjusts, and aligns components of machinery and equipment.Cleans and lubricates parts, equipment, and machinery.Performs routine preventative maintenance and repairs to manufacturing equipment as needed.Observes electrical and mechanical devices/systems in operation to located causes of trouble.Repairs and replaces defective parts.Service and repair plant facilities equipment such as air compressors, heat exchangers, boilers and chillers.Adjust and test machinery.Make repairs such as chains, sprockets, bearings, and belts. Rebuilds pneumatic cylinders, valves, pumps, gearboxes and other drive train components.Utilize CMMS system to view work orders assignments, document parts usage and labor hours, add notes of work completed, and close out the work order.Follow procedures for documenting parts usage and reporting inventory levels.Stick and tig welding repair including sanitary welding.Other duties may be assigned.JOB QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.Vocational training or applicable associate’s degree.5+ years direct manufacturing maintenance experience, preferably in food and beverage.Good mechanical aptitude and effective use of basic hand tools.Ability to troubleshoot and repair all minor mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic problems with minimal assistance.Ability to utilize all math skills, such as basic math, geometry and algebra to complete necessary job tasks.Reads and understands electrical, equipment manuals, pneumatic schematics as well as mechanical drawings.Ability to make decisions and solve problems.Be able to communicate effectively with supervisors and peers.Abide by all Safety, Health, and Environmental policiesBasic computer skills (MS Windows Platform, MS Outlook for email).Basic electrical construction, including conduit.Troubleshooting and calibrating AC & DC drives.Troubleshooting and networking PLC programming.Troubleshooting ladder and PLC logic.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.WHY ANHEUSER-BUSCH:At Anheuser-Busch, our purpose is to create a future with more cheers.
