Job summary

Pappas Restaurants, Inc. is seeking Maintenance Technicians to install, service and repair fixtures, furniture and equipment for our restaurant locations. The role offers on-site work across multiple Pappadeaux, Pappasito’s, Pappas Bros. Steakhouse and Pappas Bar-B-Q sites and requires teamwork and safety mindset.

The position includes an on-call schedule, competitive hourly pay up to $25 based on experience, and benefits such as medical/dental/life insurance, 401k and in-house training.

Qualifications

• Rotating on call schedule.
• Experience in construction carpentry trades.
• Ability to work as part of a team or independently.
• Proficiency using hand and power tools.

Job description

Our locations include: Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen, Pappasito’s Cantina, Pappas Bros. Steakhouse and Pappas Bar-B-Q. We’re searching for highly motivated Maintenance Technicians who have the desire work in a team environment and to continually develop new skills! Duties include the installation, service and repair of fixtures, furniture and equipment for our restaurant locations.

Pay and Benefits:

• Up to $25/hour based on experience
• Medical, dental and life insurance, 401k and Pappas dining benefits.
• Steady, year-round employment and ongoing in-house training

Requirements:

• Rotating on call schedule
• Previous experience working in construction carpentry trades
• Ability to work as part of a team or independently as necessary
• Proficiency using hand and power tools
• Possess an excellent attention to detail

Physical requirements: Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors; be able to lift up to 40 pounds, crawl, stoop, climb ladders and work in a variety of physical conditions.
