Job summary

LIQUADRY, INC. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair plant equipment, facilities, and vehicles at the Hinckley facility. The role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and requires hands-on skills with mechanical systems and production equipment.

The position focuses on performing maintenance, preventive maintenance on farm equipment and forklifts, proper documentation, safe work practices, and adherence to cGMP standards. Training in personal and food safety is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanics, hydraulics, and automobiles.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications are a plus.
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Self-motivated, open-minded, team player.

Responsibilities

• Proficient at motor bearings replacement and pump work.
• Perform other duties assigned.

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

SUMMARY: To maintain and repair Plant equipment, Plant facilities, and vehicles.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform maintenance on farm equipment, forklifts, automobiles, and production equipment.
• Perform weekly PM on vehicles and forklifts at the plant.
• Read manuals and diagnosis of software.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Properly document work performed on equipment and vehicles.
• Prioritize workload.
• Properly fill out requisition when supplies are needed.
• Must adhere to cGMP requirements for job function and any cGMP requirements for an area entered. This includes, but is not limited to, personal hygiene, dress codes and reporting of illnesses.
• Attend personal safety and food safety training as required.
• Proficient at motor bearings replacement and pump work.
• Perform any other duties assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in mechanics, hydraulics, and automobiles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional relevant certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Be self-motivated, open-minded, open to suggestions, and team player.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Lift over 50 lbs., on feet for a long period of time, and climb various size ladders.

HAZARDS:

Chemicals, lubricants, loud noises, and extreme weather.
