Amrize is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Lewisville, TX facility. This full-time role focuses on maintaining and repairing plant equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring safety standards while supporting project needs.

You will work with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, follow engineering plans, and collaborate with teams to keep production running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2-3 years of specialized training in technical school, apprenticeship, or manufacturers’ training program.
• 3-4 years experience in mechanical repair, installation, and construction in a plant or industrial environment.
• Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and use of shop equipment (welding, machining).

Responsibilities

• Maintain, inspect, repair, move, and install plant machinery and equipment per manuals.
• Perform maintenance on plant buildings, ensure environmental and safety compliance.
• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance on equipment (crushers, conveyors, belts, pumps, screens).
• Inspect equipment condition; perform repairs and adjustments.
• Move and install plants per engineering plans and specs.
• Disassemble and repair production equipment replacing worn parts.
• Maintain building and related work as assigned.
• Adhere to safety policies in all environments.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Amrize is hiring a full-time Ready Mix Plant Maintenance Technician located in Lewisville, TX.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

• Maintains, inspects, repairs, moves, and/or installs plant machinery and equipment in accordance with instructions, equipment manuals, etc.
• May perform maintenance on plant buildings and assure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Schedules and performs preventative maintenance on plant equipment such as crushers, conveyor belts, pulleys, pumps, screens, and screen bearings by following the manufacturer’s recommended service intervals and internal equipment reliability experience.
• Inspection of condition and operation of plant equipment and perform necessary repairs and adjustments.
• Move and install plants following engineering plans and specifications.
• Disassembles and repairs production equipment by replacing worn or broken parts, including bearings, rollers, motors, controls, etc.
• Performs maintenance on building and other related work as assigned.
• Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas.
• Other duties as assigned.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of specialized training in technical school, apprenticeship, or manufacturers’ training program.
• 3-4 years experience in mechanical repair, installation, and construction in a plant or industrial environment.
• Must have a working knowledge of basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems as well as the use of all shop equipment, such as welding and machining equipment.

Additional Requirements

Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
