Job summary

McCLARIN Composites is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain, service, and repair buildings and production equipment. You will assist with equipment changeovers and perform semiskilled duties in plumbing, carpentry, electrical or painting.

Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, can troubleshoot, work independently, and follow safety procedures. The role emphasizes reading blueprints and diagrams, and compliance with the National Electrical Code and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in manufacturing maintenance.
• Experience with CMMS is required.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains, and repairs electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
• Reads technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Performs general electrical maintenance.
• Inspects transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
• Troubleshoots electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
• Repairs and replaces equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
• Follows National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join McCLARIN Composites.

As the Maintenance Technician, you will maintain, service, and conduct repairs on buildings and production equipment. Assists production with equipment changeovers and performs a variety of semiskilled duties in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, electrical or painting.

A Day in the Life of:

• Installs, maintains, and repairs electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
• Reads technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Performs general electrical maintenance.
• Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
• Troubleshoots electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
• Repairs and replaces equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
• Follows National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.

Requirements:

What Makes You Qualified:

• HS Diploma/GED preferred
• Minimum 2 years' experience in manufacturing maintenance
• Experience with CMMS

Must Haves:

• Ability to understand and communicate in English
• Working knowledge of MS Office
• Minimum 2 years in electrical maintenance.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints/engineering drawings.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and drawings.
• Ability to read, understand and convert decimals and fractions.
• Ability to read metric and imperial measuring tools such as rulers and calipers
• Adherence to McCLARIN PPE requirements
• Maximum lifting of 50lbs. (All lifting over 50lbs. requires a team lift)
