Job summary

Integra Beauty is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Ohio e‑commerce distribution center. You will support preventative maintenance, troubleshoot conveyors, and keep automated systems running in sync with the Warehouse Management System (WMS).

The role requires 1–3 years hands-on mechanical maintenance, forklift certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. You will collaborate with the Operations Engineer on facility upgrades and repairs while ensuring safety and efficiency across

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience, preferably in a warehouse, fulfillment, or distribution environment.
• Valid Forklift / Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification (or ability to achieve certification upon hire).
• Strong proficiency with basic hand/power tools, mechanical drive systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• PLC and automated experience preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at elevated heights.

Responsibilities

• Assist Preventative Maintenance routines on conveyors, sorting systems, packaging equipment, and facility utilities.
• Troubleshoot mechanical jams, conveyor tracking, and automated sorting hardware with the WMS/PLC systems.
• Perform routine maintenance on balers and trash compactors.
• Support facility upgrades, system diagnostics, and equipment installs with the Operations Engineer.
• Safely operate and maintain forklifts, reach trucks, and scissor lifts for maintenance tasks.
• Diagnose, repair, and replace worn components on mechanical drives, gearboxes, chains, and pneumatic systems.
• Carry out light building maintenance such as changing bulbs, docking area upkeep, and rack/dock repairs.

About the Role:

The Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in ensuring uninterrupted product flow and maintaining the overall safety and physical condition of our e‑commerce distribution center. This position supports preventative maintenance routines, troubleshoots mechanical issues on warehouse equipment, executes general warehouse and facility maintenance, assists the Operations Engineer with facility projects, and keeps automated systems integrated with the Warehouse Management System (WMS) running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Preventative Maintenance: Assist PM routines on conveyors, sorting systems, packaging equipment, and facility utilities to minimize unexpected downtime. Grease, oil and ensure proper operation of automated equipment and structure.
• WMS & Operational Flow Support: Troubleshoot mechanical jams, conveyor belt tracking, and automated sorting hardware to ensure uninterrupted material flow driven by the WMS and PLC systems.
• Baler & Waste Management: Perform routine maintenance and execute change on full cardboard in baler on and trash compactors.
• Engineering Support: Partner with the Operations Engineer on continuous improvement projects, facility upgrades, system diagnostics, and equipment installs.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate and maintain material handling equipment (forklifts, reach trucks, scissor lifts) for elevated maintenance tasks and facility repairs.
• General Mechanical Repairs: Diagnose, repair, and replace worn components on mechanical drives, gearboxes, chains, sprockets, and pneumatic systems.
• General Building Maintenance: Perform light facility upkeep including changing light bulbs/fixtures, adjusting and cleaning loading docks and dock levelers, repairing rack damage, fixing door hardware, and maintaining general cleanliness and safety across the facility.

Experience:

1–3 years of hands‑on mechanical maintenance experience, preferably in a warehouse, fulfillment, or distribution environment. Will train the right person.

Equipment Certification:

Valid Forklift / Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification (or ability to achieve certification upon hire).

Mechanical Aptitude:

Strong proficiency with basic hand/power tools, mechanical drive systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics. PLC and automated experience preferred.

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at elevated heights, and stand/walk for extended periods in a fast‑paced environment.
