POSITION PURPOSE
This position is responsible for the direction of various installations, maintenance, and repair relating to the overall upkeep of facilities. This employee offers the customer the highest degree of service and promotes all Alliance Bank’s products and services.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- High School diploma or equivalency.
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language, bilingual helpful.
- Ability to respond to customer requests with tact, diplomacy, and a sense of urgency.
- Ability to offer Alliance Bank’s products and services.
- General maintenance skills in Plumbing, electrical work, central air and heating, carpentry, and building repairs.
- Ability to use power tools and hand tools.
- Valid Texas driver’s license and good driving record.
- Participate in the planning for new or replacement equipment and supplies.
- Flexibility and good judgment must be employed, and on-the-spot decisions are often required.
- Office setting that requires the following physical abilities:

- Ability to operate basic office equipment including a PC with job-related software.
- Knowledge of Alliance Bank’s policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

- Actively sells and cross-sells bank services.
- Provides prompt, courteous, and friendly service.
- Promotes Alliance Bank’s culture through all interactions modeling the Alliance Bank way of Customer Experience.
- ELECTRICAL:
- Change all light bulbs in all Alliance Bank facilities.
- Replace all broken parts on light fixtures.
- Check and repair all electrical outlets.
- Set and repair all time clocks for change of time at all branches.
- General electrical work on remodels and construction.
- CENTRAL AIR AND HEATING:
- Calibrate and check thermostats.
- Change filters on all units of Alliance Bank on a monthly schedule.
- Report and work with heating/ac companies on any major problems with heating and acunits.
- BUILDING REPAIRS:
- Minor carpentry.
- Tape and bed small jobs.
- Repair locks and doors.
- Work with a glass installer in replacing all broken windows and doors.
- Minor painting jobs.
- SECURITY SYSTEM:
- Service all exit lights in buildings.
- Work with Security providers regarding general equipment issues.
- POINT OF CONTACT:
- Be point of contact with contractors, sub-contractors, service providers and equipment providers regarding construction, remodels, and repair at all facilities.
- Participate, design, and implement special procedures oriented toward protection and preventative maintenance.
- Work with Senior Management to evaluate maintenance costs in regard to budgeting and efficiency.
- Employee may be issued bank-owned devices (such as cell phones, tablets, and/or laptops). In such cases, the employee is expected to regularly check and respond to phone calls, text messages, and/or emails.
- Keep updated on all Alliance Bank policies and procedures pertaining to this position.
