Job summary

Greensboro Auto Auction is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our safety‑driven maintenance team.

You will perform industrial and residential maintenance across multiple sites, use hand/power tools, and ensure reliable operation of our facilities. This is a full‑time role with benefits and a 40‑hour work week, with potential overtime and occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Preferred knowledge of basic trades carpentry, electrical, plumbing.
• Must have troubleshooting basics with rudimentary problem solving skills.
• Ability to learn and control fork lifts and man lifts.
• Electrical license is a plus.
• Must have valid driver's license.
• Good communication skills, positive attitude and be able to nurture a team environment.

Responsibilities

Our client, Greensboro Auto Auction is the South's leading independent, dealer exclusive auto auction. Greensboro Auto Auction, also known as GAA, is locally owned and operated. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Technician. This is a full time position with benefits. EOE.

Duties

Candidate will work as a part of a team performing industrial/residential maintenance and preventative maintenance across multiple sites to ensure proper function of our business.

Applicant must have a core understanding of work safety and the use of hand/power tools.

• Applicant must be able to read, write, perform basic math.
• Applicant must have a valid drivers license with reliable transportation to and from work.
• Applicant must be able to lift 30-50 pounds regularly, and work on ladders.
• Applicant is expected to provide basic hand tools and power tools within the first 60 days of work.
• Preferred to have three or more years of experience.
• Special consideration for trade license holders and CDL certification holders.
• 40 Hour work week, Mon - Fri. Potential overtime and three Saturdays or more a year.

Other duties may be assigned.
