Job summary

Fitch Irick Management Llc seeks a Maintenance Tech to inspect and maintain property grounds, buildings, and amenities. You will handle preventative maintenance, respond to resident requests, and ensure safety standards are met.

Responsibilities include documenting inspections, reporting incidents, and supporting unit turnovers. Valid driver’s license and ability to lift 100+ pounds are required; travel occasionally may be necessary.

Maintenance TechJob Duties/Skills:Inspect, clean, and maintain property grounds, buildings and amenities including the removal of trashSchedule and complete all preventative maintenance programsInspect grounds, amenities, units, and buildings regularly reporting any unusual or potential risks regarding the property or residents to Site Manager and submittal of required reports/forms.Observe all Fair Housing rules and regulations in both the letter and spirit of the lawsHandling Emergencies in compliance with Fitch Irick policies and proceduresAssuring the timely reporting and thorough documentation of incidents that involve property damage or personal injury, assisting with insurance reportingResponsible for the care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the property or management company, maintaining maintenance storage area/areas. General Maintenance and Operations - assuring the physical asset of the property meets designated program requirements and Fitch Irick’s standards.Timely completion and documentation of all resident and property maintenance requests, assuring records are up-to-date and accurate.Ensuring proper safety logs are completed in accordance with company policies and procedures and applicable OSHA and agency law.Timely completion of unit turnovers complying with Fitch Irick’s unit turnover checklist including removal of trash from vacant unit.Required Qualifications:Education: High School Diploma or equivalentExperience: None RequiredPhysical Abilities: This position is very labor intensive with prolonged times of standing, stooping/bending, pushing/pulling, and frequent exposure to elements and chemicals.
