Job summary

Kalyn Siebert is seeking a maintenance technician for our Texas facility in Gatesville. The role focuses on keeping all plant equipment—drills, presses, forklifts, cranes, and welding gear—in safe working order, repairing infrastructure, and supporting the team with hands-on maintenance.

Applicants should be able to perform minor electrical work, inspect tools, build fixtures, and train colleagues as needed. Weekend/overtime work may be required to meet production demands.

Qualifications

• Must follow PPE and safety protocols at all times.
• Maintenance and repair of plant equipment as assigned.
• Perform minor electrical maintenance on circuits and motors.
• Provide training and assistance to other employees as needed.
• Willingness to work weekends/overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all plant equipment including drills, presses, forklifts, cranes, hoists, and welding gear.
• Repair stairs, windows, racks, bins, benches and lighting fixtures.
• Maintain and repair water/oil lines, steam and airlines, sprinkler systems.
• Perform minor electrical maintenance on electrical circuits and motors.
• Inspect and clean equipment and tools; order replacement parts.
• Build jigs, fixtures and supports; supervise safety practices.
• Provide training and assistance to other employees as assigned.
• Follow action and communication protocols for nonstandard deviations.

Job description

• Work every scheduled work day including weekends and overtime as required.


• Understand and comply with all PPE requirements at all times, work safely every day and encourage all team members to do the same.

• Maintain all plant equipment such as drill presses, press brakes, fork lift trucks, cranes and hoists, welding equipment, hand and power tools, etc.


• Make repairs to stairs, windows, racks and bins, benches, lighting fixtures, etc.


• Maintain and repair water and oil lines, steam and airlines, sprinkler and fire equipment, etc.


• Perform minor electrical maintenance on lighting circuits, power circuits, motors, controls, etc.


• Maintain inventory of replacement parts for tools and equipment.


• Inspect and clean equipment, tools, etc.


• Build jigs, fixtures, supports, etc.

• Provide training and assistance to other employees as assigned.


• Follow action and communication protocols for nonstandard deviation in processes or equipment..


• Perform other duties as assigned.
