Air Liquide Advanced Materials in Fremont, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on production and facility systems. The role includes installation and modification of chemical processing equipment and supporting safety initiatives.

The position requires 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, the ability to read P&IDs, and the physical capability to lift and operate equipment with appropriate PPE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years industrial maintenance experience, preferably in chemical or fluids systems.
• Gas (Pressure) system component theory and operation.
• Able to read and construct from a P&ID or Engineering drawing.
• Physical fitness and ability to wear respirators as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment.
• Install/modify chemical processing equipment and assist with safety improvements.
• Execute preventive maintenance programs and monitoring devices inspections.
• Write purchase requisitions for needed parts and maintain spare parts levels.
• Follow work instructions, safety protocols and document activities in systems.

Included is troubleshooting and repair of equipment associated with all gas manifolds and the associated facility equipment. Shift work that will include nights and weekends and holidays.Air Liquide is hiring for a Maintenance Technician in Fremont, CA!We are looking for you!Starting rate: $34.50/hourAnnual Bonus: 5%Work schedule : 3on - 2off / 2 on 3 off (12 hour shift: 7am - 7pm)Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Installation and/or modification of chemical processing equipment as well as the repair andtroubleshooting of auxiliary equipment associated with all chemical processing equipment andother facility equipment. Assist in promoting safety and organization in the maintenance dept. Continues review and updating of Work Instructions Recommended preventative maintenance intervals based on repair data Responsible for the execution of the Preventative Maintenance Program and the Monitoring andMeasuring Devices Program. Specialize in Engineering improvement construction projects, ensuring that projects have awell-defined scope and schedule which has been reviewed by all affected parties. Recommended spare parts inventory levels Be able to write Purchase Requisitions for needed parts Be able to perform all component rebuilds and calibrations. Understand and follow the process flow within chemical processing equipment . Understand and perform valid leak checks Follow all work instructions and safety protocol Organize and sort information using available computer software. Successfully complete all assigned training Must be and remain clean shaven at all times Ability to wear a full face tight fitting respirator and a fully encapsulated (Level A) ER suit, SelfContained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), or any other tight-fitting and/or supplied air respirators(SAR) Ability to roll cylinders- Rolling cylinders requires an individual to tilt a cylinder slightly with onehand, and use the other hand to move the cylinder forward by rolling it. Fitness for duty, including but not limited to: ability to lift 50 pounds and have the ability toclimb ladders. Actively participate on ALAM’s emergency response (ER) team including as an ER entry teammember, which requires wearing a tight fitting full-face respirator__________________Are you a MATCH?
