Job summary

Momentum Manufacturing Group LLC in Franklin, NH is seeking a Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a full-time, non-exempt role based in Franklin, NH, requiring hands-on skills across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Overtime and travel between buildings may be required to support uptime and safety.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment.
• Provide emergency repairs during production hours and scheduled maintenance.
• Perform simple machinist duties.
• Repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Read manuals and work orders for maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts, test and adjust.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines and facilities.
• Report unusual conditions to supervision.
• Comply with OSHA and ISO standards, maintain clean work areas.
• Work extended hours when required.

Maintenance Technician

Salary Range: $24.00 To $36.00 Hourly

Job Summary:To support MMG mission to be the preferred supply chain partner to the North East Region’s leading manufacturers providing quality parts, on-time at the most competitive price. This positions is primarily responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the company’s business goals and objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production hours and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
• Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
• Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
• Occasionally perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
• Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
• Comply with OSHA safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Must maintain and reinforce ISO standards and objectives.
• Must be able to work extended hours when required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA’s):

• Must possess basic computer skills
• Must have a good mechanical aptitude
• Must have valid driver’s license and be willing to travel between buildings
• Must be self-motivated
• Must have the ability to multitask and complete assignments on time

Preferred KSA’s:

• Blue print reading skills
• Basic math and trigonometry skills
• Read equipment manuals to preform required maintenance
• Strong understanding of machine tool geometry and usage with various materials
• Basic knowledge for electrical
• Not afraid of heights and can work from ladders
• Basic knowledge of ISO concepts

This position operates in both office and manufacturing floor environments. Exposure to noise, machinery, temperature variation, and industrial conditions may occur when accessing plant areas.
