Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the daily upkeep, preventive maintenance, and general repairs of the building’s systems and facilities, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Complete resident service requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Respond to building emergencies and participate in on-call rotation as needed.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance tasks, including filter changes, lubrication, and minor adjustments.
  • Maintain common areas (lobby, hallways, amenities, parking garage, etc.) in clean and operational condition.
  • Assist with property inspections and vendor coordination for specialized repairs or services.
  • Ensure tools, inventory, and maintenance supplies are well‑stocked and properly stored.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Support tasks such as pressure washing and exterior upkeep.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; trade school or technical certification preferred.
  • 2+ years of maintenance or building operations experience (residential or commercial).
  • Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair building systems and perform minor carpentry / painting tasks.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various indoor / outdoor conditions.
Preferred Skills
  • HVAC certification (EPA Type I / II or Universal)
  • CPO (Certified Pool Operator)
  • Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS)
  • Experience in a condominium, multifamily, or hospitality environment
