Electrical Automation Services is seeking an Electromechanical Technician to support a high-speed beverage production facility in Montgomery, AL. This on-site role requires troubleshooting, repairing, and improving electrical, controls, and electromechanical systems across the plant.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial maintenance, reads electrical schematics, and can operate with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years industrial maintenance in manufacturing or related fields.
• Experience troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment and instrumentation.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with safety standards, LOTO, and industrial maintenance best practices.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems, control circuits, motors, VFDs, PLCs, instrumentation, and automated equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance and diagnose failures using electrical diagrams and troubleshooting tools.
• Support production to minimize downtime and maintain packaging and process lines.
• Assist with installation, commissioning, startup, and validation of capital projects.
• Document work orders and asset history in SAP/CMMS; conduct RCA and 5 Whys for reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and leadership on asset performance and safety.
• Participate in daily production meetings and reliability improvement activities.

Please apply only if you live within 37 miles of Fort Deposit.Electrical Automation Services is seeking a skilled Electromechanical Technician to support the operation, reliability, and continuous improvement of a high-speed distillery and beverage production facility located in Montgomery, AL. This role is available on 2nd or 3rd shift and is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and improving electrical, controls, and electromechanical systems throughout the plant. The ideal candidate will bring strong industrial electrical troubleshooting skills, experience working with automated manufacturing equipment, and a commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems, control circuits, motors, motor controls, VFDs, PLCs, instrumentation, and automated production equipment.Perform preventive maintenance (PM), predictive maintenance (PdM), and corrective maintenance activities on manufacturing and utility equipment.Diagnose equipment failures using electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, PLC logic, and troubleshooting tools.Support production by responding to equipment breakdowns and minimizing downtime.Maintain and troubleshoot conveyors, pumps, compressors, packaging equipment, filling systems, bottling/canning equipment, and process equipment.Assist with the installation, commissioning, startup, and validation of new equipment and capital projects.Utilize SAP, CMMS, or other maintenance systems to document work orders, equipment history, and maintenance activities.Conduct root cause analysis (RCA), 5 Whys, and continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability.Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and leadership teams to improve asset performance.Support autonomous maintenance initiatives and operator training as needed.Participate in daily production meetings, maintenance reviews, and reliability improvement activities.Follow all safety, environmental, food and beverage manufacturing, and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with 5S principles.Preferred Technical SkillsPLC troubleshooting and diagnostics (Allen-Bradley, Rockwell Automation preferred)Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)AC/DC motors and motor controlsElectrical distribution systems up to 480VSensors, photo eyes, proximity switches, encoders, and instrumentationHMI systems and industrial automation controlsPneumatic and hydraulic systemsIndustrial networking and communication systemsPreventive and predictive maintenance methodologiesRoot Cause Analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement toolsQualificationsJourneyman Electrician, Industrial Maintenance Technician, or Electrical Maintenance Technician certification, technical degree, or equivalent experience preferred.Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing, brewery, distillery, beverage, food processing, packaging, or consumer products facility.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.Experience troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment in a production environment.Strong understanding of electrical safety, LOTO, and industrial maintenance best practices.Experience with SAP, CMMS, or other maintenance management systems preferred.Associate degree required; Electrician Apprentice license/certification preferred.Physical RequirementsAbility to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, temperature fluctuations, moisture, and moving machinery.Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces as required.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.Ability to work overtime, weekends, and shift schedules as needed.Benefits401(k) with matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offParental leaveProfessional development assistanceReferral programRetirement planTuition reimbursement
