Job summary

Campbell Property Management in Dania Beach, FL is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to maintain grounds, facilities and amenities of the condominium. The role reports to the Property Manager and ensures all systems function and look clean.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, inspecting the property, safe operation of tools, painting, carpentry and minor repairs, keeping records, and ensuring OSHA safety guidelines are followed.

Qualifications

• Self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Must pass drug screening and background check.
• Ability to perform physical labor and operate maintenance equipment.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and completes work orders assigned by the Community Association Manager.
• Routinely inspects the community and identifies issues.
• Maintains equipment and uses tools safely and effectively.
• Maintains positive working relationships with staff.
• Performs painting and touch-ups of common areas.
• Performs general labor including lifting heavy items.
• Performs general carpentry and minor repairs where permits aren’t required.
• Maintains maintenance records and reports as directed by the supervisor.
• Reports the need for major repairs to the supervisor.
• Checks and maintains lighting throughout the property.
• Pressure washes sidewalks, entrances, and equipment to keep a neat appearance.
• Maintains recreational amenities such as outdoor gyms and playgrounds.
• Follows OSHA safety guidelines and procedures.

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician helps maintain the grounds, facilities, and amenities of the Condominium and reports to the Property Manager. The position ensures that all mechanical systems and equipment are functional and properly maintained in a clean and aesthetically appealing condition.

Responsibilities:

• Reviews and completes work orders assigned by the Community Association Manager.
• Routinely inspects the community and advises the supervisor of any issues or makes corrections as appropriate.
• Utilizes and maintains equipment in a proper, safe, and effective manner.
• Maintains positive working relationships with community staff.
• Performs painting and touch-up of common areas as needed.
• Performs general labor, including lifting and moving heavy items as directed by the supervisor.
• Performs general carpentry and other minor community/building repairs when a permit is not required.
• Maintains records and other maintenance reports as directed by the supervisor.
• Reports the need for major repairs to the Community Association Manager/Maintenance Supervisor.
• Checks and maintains lighting throughout the property.
• Pressure washes sidewalks, entrances, A/C and heat pump pads, and other areas as necessary to maintain a neat appearance.
• Maintains applicable recreational amenities, including outdoor gyms and playgrounds.
• Ensures all safety precautions and procedures are followed in compliance with OSHA guidelines and requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Community Association Manager

Pay Rate: $20-$22

Skills & Qualifications

Must be a self-starter and able to accomplish duties without constant supervision. Must pass a drug screening and back ground check.
