Peabody Properties is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for an apartment community in Fall River, MA. The role involves addressing a broad range of maintenance needs to support the Service Manager and ensure efficient property operations.

Key tasks include electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, carpentry, painting, and grounds maintenance, with a focus on timely responses and high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years of facilities maintenance experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
• Solid computer skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• On-call coverage for emergencies after hours, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to respond and remedy maintenance issues in a timely manner.
• Reliable vehicle needed to perform essential duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform and troubleshoot Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC tasks.
• Repair appliances and manage basic carpentry repairs.
• Maintain locks and keys; ensure security and access control.
• Provide painting and drywall repair as needed.
• Perform janitorial tasks and maintain cleanliness in common areas.
• Maintain exterior grounds per company standards.
• Respond to maintenance issues promptly and communicate status to the Service Manager.

Peabody Properties seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to join its team of property management professionals at apartment community in Fall River, MA.

The Maintenance Technician's role requires effective and careful evaluation in response to a broad range of maintenance needs to assist the Service Manager with the efficient operation of property.

Education And Experience

• High School Diploma or GED;
• Prior experience in the facilities maintenance field with a minimum of 3 years and related job experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in the English language, both written and verbal;
• Solid computer skills;
• Excellent customer service skills a must;

Compensation and Benefits
