Primary duties will include minor electrical work, mechanical repairs, and other duties relating to maintenance needs.**Position Responsibilities:***Clinical / Technical Skills* (40% of performance review)* Performs preventative maintenance on equipment and systems as required.* Performs preventative maintenance duties to all physical structures of the facility and complies with all building safety codes. This is to include facility equipment and associated controls.* Assists in maintaining and repairing HVAC controls and associated equipment to maximize efficiency levels in all environmentally controlled areas.* Performs urgent corrective, routine and requisitioned repairs of electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems as required.* Perform upkeep of the facility, which could include but not limited to, painting, wall repair, on call after hours, unclogging toilets and sinks, etc.* As required, assists in maintaining electrical wiring and emergency generator systems. CPR and hospital-selected de-escalation technique certification.* Preferred: Some college or vocational program* Maintains education and development appropriate for position.* May substitute experience for required education.**Experience*** Required: One year building maintenance and/or general labor on construction projects or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.* Preferred: HVAC certification and/or a minimum of two years experience in HVAC repair and maintenance, and a minimum of one (1) year experience in a behavioral healthcare setting.* May substitute education for experience.
