Dura-Line is hiring a Maintenance Technician for its Elyria Garden Street location. The role supports all production departments, chiefly the Extrusion area, to repair and maintain equipment essential for production.

Responsibilities include mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, reading schematics, and using tools to keep equipment running smoothly. Benefits and a comprehensive package are offered with equal opportunity employment.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of hands-on industrial mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools and electrical devices.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, diagrams and sketches.

• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude with bearings, gears, sprockets, hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps and related equipment.
• Assist all departments with equipment breakdowns and maintenance needs.
• Perform basic facilities maintenance as needed.
• Use a voltmeter, welder and hand tools; check and replace fuses, motor starters, relays, pumps, motors and AC/DC components; troubleshoot electrical circuits.
• Assist the maintenance crew with rebuilds, shutdowns and installations.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
• Follow all safety rules, policies and procedures.
• Fabricate equipment and components for production as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule:

• Days Monday thru Friday 6am-2:30pm

As a Maintenance Technician you will assist in all our production departments, primarily the Extrusion department in repairing and maintaining all equipment necessary.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or skilled trades education preferred.
• Basic math/measurement & reading comprehension skills
• 2+ years of hands‑on industrial mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools and electrical devices.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, diagrams and sketches.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills and experience using maintenance systems.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Physical requirements include working around obstacles and fork trucks; wearing required PPE; climbing ladders and equipment; working on the plant floor for 8-12 hours; working around hot machinery, weather and noise; and lifting, pushing or pulling up to 50 lbs.

Our Offer:

The compensation for this position is typically start at $28/Hour.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job‑related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include short and long‑term incentive compensation.
