Job summary

CommQuest Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform basic and routine facilities maintenance, construction, and repairs at our Stark County locations. You will help keep buildings safe and welcoming, handle painting, carpentry, drywall, fixture installation, and move materials as needed, while coordinating with the team to address maintenance requests.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, about one year of maintenance experience, ability to lift and use hand tools,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; minimum one year of maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, and sit for extended periods; occasional heavy lifting.
• Knowledge of hand tools, cleaning equipment, construction, and painting supplies; use safely and appropriately.
• Must possess a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and a driving record compliant with agency requirements.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic and routine facilities maintenance, construction, and preventative and repair tasks according to service, quality, and safety standards among all facilities, as assigned by ticketing and/or supervisor.
• Assists with miscellaneous facility projects; painting, carpentry, drywall, fixture installation, and moving materials and furniture within (or between) facilities.
• Conducts routine inspections of premises and equipment at all CommQuest Services locations.
• Maintains inventory of CommQuest Services maintenance equipment, ensuring equipment is kept in good, working condition.
• Year-round grounds keeping and landscaping (snow removal, mowing, etc.).
• Other duties as assigned

CommQuest seeks a Maintenance Technician to work at our facilities within Stark County. Maintenance Technicians perform basic and routine maintenance and construction activities via ticketing system.

What You'll Do

Schedule

The work schedule is primarily Dayshift, Monday - Friday. Must have availability to accommodate additional evening or weekend hours as needed and requested by the Supervisor or emergency situations.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of one-year experience in maintenance services, preferred.
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, and sit for extended periods of time, as required to complete cleaning and maintenance services. Occasional heavy lifting involved.
• Knowledge of hand tools, cleaning equipment, construction, painting supplies and ability to use them safely and appropriately.
• Possesses a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and a driving record that is in compliance with agency insurance requirements.
