Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to support advanced robotic and material handling systems at a client facility in Durham, NC.

You will perform hands-on repairs, preventative maintenance, and optimization to keep automated equipment running safely and efficiently. Ideal candidates bring strong electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, adherence to safety protocols, and teamwork across maintenance staff and the client’s operations team.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance of MHE and robotics is preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
• Experience documenting preventative maintenance procedures.
• Strong teamwork and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues related to all MHE, including belts, motors, photo-eyes.
• Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Complete and properly document preventative maintenance routines.
• Track and store department inventory.
• Cultivate positive working relationships with our Client and Operations Maintenance team members.
• Perform other job-related duties as needed or assigned.
