Job summary

Lucky Strike Entertainment is hiring a Maintenance Technician to help keep our waterpark and attractions running safely. The role requires at least two years in mechanical/industrial maintenance, the ability to read manuals, and strong troubleshooting skills. Part-time, seasonal shifts with day/evening availability are typical.

• At least two years in mechanical/industrial maintenance.
• Experience with doors, tile, drywall, or painting is a plus.
• Ability to read and follow maintenance manuals and safety rules.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections to ensure equipment and attractions are safe and functional.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on attractions and equipment.
• Diagnose issues and perform safe, timely repairs.

What Our Maintenance Technicians Do

Our Maintenance Technicians ensure the safe and efficient operation of all attractions and equipment. You’ll perform inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance to keep everything running at peak performance.

A MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN’S DAY-TO-DAY

• Perform line inspections to ensure all equipment and attractions are in safe working condition.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on various equipment, including attractions.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform timely, efficient, and safe repairs.
• Remove and/or replace worn or defective parts using hand and power tools.
• Work safely in accordance with OSHA Standards and company policies.
• Document all inspections, corrective actions, and repairs in designated logbooks.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols while working at heights, in confined spaces, and around mechanical equipment.
• Respond to maintenance service calls and attraction shutdowns promptly.
• Assist in the erection, repair, and troubleshooting of various attractions.
• Work independently and manage time efficiently without direct supervision.
• Collaborate with other departments to support park operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned to maintain park facilities.

What It Takes

• Minimum age: 18 years and valid state driver’s license.
• Minimum two years of experience in mechanical/industrial maintenance or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Experience with door repairs, tile installation, drywall installation, and painting is a plus.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend maintenance manuals, safety regulations, and technical instructions.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Typical entertainment and waterpark environment where you’ll walk, bend, and stand for extended periods, and may lift objects with some assistance. You’ll work outdoors in various weather conditions and remain highly alert throughout your shift.
• Part-time, seasonal. Day and evening shifts, weekday and weekend availability.

Pay & Benefits

The pay rate for this position is $21.00 per hour.
