Job summary

The Bachrach Group is seeking a Maintenance Tech to maintain, troubleshoot, repair and install industrial equipment at our NY facility. You will work with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and uphold safety policies and log maintenance records.

This role requires an Associate degree or technical certification and at least 3 years of related experience, with a focus on reliability, uptime, and facility upkeep in a dynamic industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or Electrical.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of equipment and facilities maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair and install industrial equipment.
• Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems experience.
• Facility systems and overall upkeep, repair and facility ground maintenance.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and preventative maintenance records.
• Perform minor electrical, HVAC systems, plumbing, carpentry, and painting repairs.
• Maintain compressed air, water, and utility systems throughout the facility.
• Coordinate with outside contractors, identify opportunities for repairs or improvements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and facility efficiency.
• Assist in equipment relocation and facility expansion projects.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and safety policies.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and spare parts.
