Job summary

Bristol Steel in Michigan is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service and repair our production equipment, buildings, and machines. The role involves diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, installing parts, and performing preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.

Candidates should have experience with 480V electrical systems, be able to inspect and troubleshoot equipment, and collaborate with management across departments to address maintenance needs.

Responsibilities

• Rebuild and repair all parts of company equipment as may be required in the department to which they are assigned.
• Diagnose any mechanical, electrical or other breakdown or failure to related equipment.
• Fixing and maintaining mechanical equipment, buildings, and machines
• Rebuilding, repairing, and/or replacing equipment/machinery/parts
• Performing preventative maintenance
• Installing equipment/machinery/parts
• Inspecting and troubleshooting equipment and systems
• Collaboration with management and other departments regarding maintenance issues throughout the facility
• Examines, tests, and measures product from assigned equipment for quality specifications, using gauges and instruments, and records data on appropriate forms. Checks product for visual defects.
• Knowledge of overhead cranes
• Other maintenance duties as assigned

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Maintenance Technician position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
