Job summary

LJW Solutions in Dallas, TX is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support reliability of plant machinery, automated production equipment and facility systems. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

You will install wiring for robots and conveyors, troubleshoot PLCs and robotics, perform welding and fabrication, and collaborate with operators to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate degree in a technical discipline is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Install power supplies, wiring and conduit for robots, conveyors, PLC-controlled machinery and other production equipment.
• Connect and terminate power, control and communication wiring between machines and components.
• Test circuits using ohmmeters, oscilloscopes and other electrical diagnostic instruments.
• Diagnose and repair transformers, motors, relays, switches, sensors, lighting and printed circuit boards.
• Troubleshoot production machinery by observing equipment operation and consulting operators, manuals and manufacturers.
• Operate robot controllers, teach pendants and programmable controllers to diagnose faults and verify repairs.
• Troubleshoot and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components.
• Plan wiring layouts and install conduit and electrical equipment throughout the facility.
• Complete welding, pipe fitting, plumbing and fabrication work as required.
• Construct or modify equipment using plans, sketches and technical designs.
