Job summary
Amcor Flexibles, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain a variety of facilities, production, and building equipment at our Dallas, TX site. You will diagnose problems, perform basic welding, and ensure CM/PMs are properly documented to maximize uptime.
The role requires strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, welding abilities, and experience in a manufacturing environment. You will collaborate with Plant and Warehouse teams, uphold safety standards, and contribute to

- Experience maintaining equipment in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to diagnose and repair electrical/mechanical systems.
- Proficient in reading wiring diagrams and motor controls.
- Welding and fabrication skills.
- Familiarity with safety and environmental guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regularly scheduled maintenance on equipment and facilities
- Maintain control and motor systems
- Diagnose problems with equipment and repair/replace parts
- Perform basic welding and fabrication as needed
- Support safety and environmental guidelines
- Communicate daily with Production and Shipping Managers
- Develop daily priorities with Plant and Warehouse Managers
- Drive 5S in maintenance area
- Research and purchase parts as needed
- Improve machine uptime by CM/PM per MaintainX
- Other duties as assigned

Repair and maintain a variety of facilities, production, and building equipment, along with related work involved in maintaining the building.
- Conduct regularly scheduled maintenance on equipment and facilities
- Maintain control and motor systems
- Diagnose problems with equipment & repair/replace defective parts
- Perform basic welding and fabrication as needed
- Support & comply with safety & environmental guidelines
- Communicate daily with Production and Shipping Managers
- Support & comply with safety & environmental guidelines
- Diagnose problems with equipment & repair/replace defective parts
- Communicate daily with the Plant Manager and Warehouse Manager to develop a daily list of priorities for the maintenance team
- Drive 5S workplace organization in the maintenance area and support the initiative throughout the manufacturing and warehousing operations
- Research and purchase parts as needed for machine breakdowns and/or spare parts replacement
- Improve machine up time by ensuring all CM's and PMs are properly performed and documented in MaintainX
- Other duties as assigned
- Basic math skills
- Good English language skills
- Welding skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Strong electrical knowledge
- Good communication skills
- Ability to troubleshoot & solve problems
- Advanced manufacturing mechanical experience
- Advanced manufacturing controls and wiring experience
- Basic understanding of motor controls and ability to read wiring diagrams
- MS Office literate
- No fear of heights
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Prior process machinery trouble shooting
- Regularly required to stand, walk, communicate, see and hear
- Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 35 lbs.
- Frequently climb towers up to 35 feet high
- Regularly required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, stretch or bend
- Strong motor skills
