Job summary

The Technician responds to maintenance requests, ensures property standards, and adheres to applicable laws. Responsibilities include electrical, HVAC, plumbing, security systems, pest control, and general upkeep. Valid driver license and HS diploma required.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver license are required.
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests and ensure property meets standards and laws.
• Maintain electrical systems, replace bulbs, inspect panels.
• Assist in ventilation, refrigeration, and other systems; perform repairs.
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems for functionality.
• Inspect alarm systems and schedule repairs.
• Perform general repairs (locks, windows) as needed.
• Conduct pest control activities like insecticide spraying.
• Engage in landscaping, painting, carpentry as assigned.
• Assist in budget preparation and adherence.

Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for responding to maintenance requests as instructed by the Maintenance Coordinator and property staff. This position ensures that the physical aspects of the property meet the company’s established standards and any applicable laws.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels, etc.)
• Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality
• Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)
• Undertake activities of pest control such as spraying insecticide
• Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g., landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry, etc.)
• Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed

Skills/Qualifications:
