Job summary

Fath Properties in Franklin, OH, is seeking an Apartment Maintenance professional to care for Village East Apartments. The role requires multi-skilled upkeep of occupied units, diagnosing basic problems, and performing repairs across appliances, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.

HVAC certification is preferred; on-call duties begin after training and supervision by the Community Manager. Successful candidates will bring reliability, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift 75 lbs;

Qualifications

• Must be multi-skilled in maintenance and able to diagnose basic repairs.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Respond to on-site maintenance requests for occupied units.
• Perform appliance, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
• On-call duties after training; report to Community Manager.

Fath Properties is seeking a candidate to fill an Apartment Maintenance position at our beautiful property, Village East Apartments, located in Franklin, OH. We are offering a $1,000 signing bonus!

Candidates should be Multi Skilled in Maintenance, capable of performing occupied residential repairs. They must have the ability to diagnose basic problems at the property including appliance repairs, plumbing, electrical and carpentry.

HVAC certification is preferred

Additional skills we are looking for more in candidates, include the following:

• appliance repair and replacement
• plumbing repairs, electrical repairs
• lighting replacement
• hardware replacement
• painting and drywall repairs as needed

This position reports directly to Community Manager.

Perform on- call duties- once properly trained.

Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:

• High School Diploma, GED, Technical or Trade School
• HVAC certification preferred
• Plumbing and electrical experience
• Leadership skills a plus
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Physical requirements: Able to lift 75 lbs. Able to climb ladders and steps. Applicants must be able to operate power equipment such as saws, drills. Must be able to operate door locks.
