Job summary

  • Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints and schematics.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team; willingness to work nights/weekends if needed.

  • Monitor machine performance and adjust or repair components as needed.
  • Maintain detailed maintenance records and logs of repairs, inspections, and parts usage.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve machine reliability and efficiency.
  • Order and manage spare parts inventory as needed.
  • Assist with installation of new equipment or upgrades to existing machinery.
  • Maintain auxiliary equipment such as dryers, loaders, hot runners, cooling towers and temperature control units.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines, molds, robots, and related equipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and production calls.
  • Monitor machine performance and adjust or repair components as needed.
  • Maintain detailed maintenance records and logs of repairs, inspections, and parts usage.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve machine reliability and efficiency.

EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in injection molding maintenance or a similar industrial maintenance role.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with injection molding machines (e.g., Engel, Arburg, Husky, etc.) is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights or weekends, if needed.
PHYSCIAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Work in noisy, fast-paced manufacturing environments.
