Job summary

Meyer Utility Structures, an Arcosa subsidiary, is hiring a Maintenance Technician for our Clinton, IL plant. You will use blueprints, schematics, small/power tools, and electronic test equipment to perform maintenance tasks and diagnose problems across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Job description

Meyer Utility Structures, an Arcosa subsidiary, is currently looking to hire a Maintenance Technician for our Clinton, IL plant. As a maintenance technician, you’ll use blueprints, schematics, small/power tools, and electronic test equipment to perform a variety of maintenance tasks. You’ll determine causes of operating problems in areas including, but not limited to, plumbing, electrical systems/components, HVAC, carpentry, electrical fixtures/switches/power sources, and mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform basic preventive maintenance on production equipment

• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical experience
• Ability to maintain good attendance
