Job summary

Avanti is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician for its manufacturing facility in Clarksville, TN. The role requires experience with engines, rollers, pulleys, fan blades, and metalworking equipment such as lathes, grinders, welders and CNC machines.

On-call availability and forklift operation are expected. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience, be able to read blueprints, and work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be available on‑call for maintenance emergencies
• Must be able to work with minimum supervision
• Must be able to drive a forklift or be willing to learn
• Must be computer literate
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, swapping motors, or doing other preventive maintenance actions.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and decide how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as needed.
• Repair machines, equipment, or structures, using various tools, instruments or devices.
• Train or manage maintenance assistants.
• Respond to urgent needs and be flexible on hours when a machine is down.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Job description

Avanti is looking for a full-time maintenance technician for our manufacturing facility. Ideal candidates will have experience as a mechanic working on engines, rollers, pulleys, or fan blades. The Maintenance Technician should also have knowledge of lathe, grinder, welder, CNC, and hydraulic press. Experience with 480V 3 Phase a Plus.

• Hours: We have 2nd and 3rd shift available. Weekend days will be required.
