LEDIC Realty Management / Envolve is seeking a friendly, self-motivated Maintenance Technician for properties in Chesapeake, VA. Responsibilities include performing general maintenance and repairs such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical tasks. Candidates must have HVAC certification and a minimum of 3 years of experience. The position offers medical, dental, vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan. Availability for 24/7 emergency maintenance calls is required, with normal work hours of 8 am to 5 pm. Envolve Community Management Company owns and professionally manages apartment communities across the southeastern United States. We are seeking a friendly, self‑motivated Maintenance Technician to work at the above locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
• Repair apartment appliances, water heaters, electrical fixtures, bulbs, commodes, sinks and other general maintenance repairs as needed.
• Conduct preventive maintenance duties and complete all required documentation such as work orders and forms.
• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in all maintenance operations.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification and a minimum of 3 years of maintenance technician experience.
• Ability to move heavy equipment safely using proper equipment.
• Availability for emergency 24/7 maintenance calls, with normal hours 8 am – 5 pm Mon‑Fri and possibility of occasional overtime.
• Completion of background screening and drug test required.

Preferred

• EPA Certification.
• HVAC certification (additional).
• Universal certification or experience.
