Job summary

A property management company is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician for its Charlotte, NC location. Qualifications & Required Experience

• Ability to read, write, and speak English to communicate with customers, process Company paperwork, and interpret safety and operating manuals and procedures.
• Must be able to move, carry, reposition, or lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, scaffolds, and navigate elevation changes while maintaining balance.
• Frequent need to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, push/pull, and navigate difficult terrain and access small areas.
• Ability to work standard community hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work as an on-call technician and provide after-hours emergency service with the support of the Service Manager while following Company standards.
• EPA certification Type II or Universal is required.
• CPO certification is a plus.
• Considerable experience troubleshooting HVAC.
• Valid Driver's License is required.

• Respond to maintenance requests and emergency repairs in a timely manner to maintain community standards.
• Operate and maintain maintenance shop equipment and tools in a safe manner.
• Coordinate with Service Manager and others to schedule and complete assigned tasks.
