A property management company is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician for its Charlotte, NC location. The role involves performing various repairs, responding to maintenance requests, and operating tools safely. Candidates must possess EPA certification Type II or Universal and should be able to lift up to 50 lbs. A valid Driver's License is required, and experience in HVAC troubleshooting is preferred. Qualifications & Required Experience

• Ability to read, write, and speak English to communicate with customers, process Company paperwork, and interpret safety and operating manuals and procedures.
• Must be able to move, carry, reposition, or lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, scaffolds, and navigate elevation changes while maintaining balance.
• Frequent need to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, push/pull, and navigate difficult terrain and access small areas.
• Ability to work standard community hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work as an on-call technician and provide after-hours emergency service with the support of the Service Manager while following Company standards.
• EPA certification Type II or Universal is required.
• CPO certification is a plus.
• Considerable experience troubleshooting HVAC.
• Valid Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs that may include, but are not limited to, plumbing, electrical work, and general carpentry work related to household, building, and property grounds repairs.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergency repairs in a timely manner to maintain community standards.
• Operate and maintain maintenance shop equipment and tools in a safe manner.
• Coordinate with Service Manager and others to schedule and complete assigned tasks.
