Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the operation and upkeep of our property buildings and grounds in Casper, WY. You will perform daily repair tasks, prep vacant units for occupancy, and maintain tools and inventory to keep properties in top condition.

The role requires knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, plus practical handyman experience. On-call availability, safe work practices, and a professional appearance are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate various hand tools including power tools.
• Effective communication and ability to follow written or oral instructions.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Property maintenance/handyman experience.

Responsibilities

• Daily repair and upkeep of property and vacant unit prep.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment and ensure tools are on hand.
• Report unusual circumstances and maintain professional appearance.
• Operate within OSHA standards and company safety policies.
• Respond to service requests on a 24-hour basis and handle lock-outs.

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician!

Maintenance Technicians Maintain the efficient operation and upkeep of the property buildings and grounds in a supportive role.

Responsibilities Include

• Take responsibility for the daily repair and upkeep of the property and the preparation of vacant units for occupancy
• Maintain and keep an inventory of all supplies and equipment
• Ensure necessary tools are on hand
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents
• Maintain the required property uniform ensuring a professional appearance
• Be aware of and operate within OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times
• Be available to work on an on-call basis
• Secure the maintenance shop(s) at the close of every workday
• Remove snow and ice as necessary
• Handle all lock-outs as a result of evictions and take responsibility for 24-hour response to service requests

Requirements

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions

• Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical

Compensation:

Full-Time $15.00 to $16.00 per hour
