Job summary

CommQuest Services, Inc. in Stark County is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform basic and routine facilities maintenance and construction tasks across our facilities. You will handle preventative work, repairs, and assist with projects while upholding safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of maintenance experience. A valid driver's license and the ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; minimum one year of maintenance experience.
• Ability to lift and perform physical tasks; extended standing and sitting.
• Valid driver's license and insurance in compliance with agency requirements.
• Experience with hand tools, cleaning equipment, and basic construction tasks.
• Snow removal or groundskeeping experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic and routine facilities maintenance, construction, and preventative/repair tasks according to standards as assigned by ticketing or supervisor.
• Assists with painting, carpentry, drywall, fixture installation, and moving materials within facilities.
• Conducts routine inspections of premises and equipment at all CommQuest locations.
• Maintains inventory of maintenance equipment and ensures they are in good working condition.
• Year-round groundskeeping and landscaping (snow removal, mowing, etc.).
• Other duties as assigned.

CommQuest seeks a Maintenance Technician to work at our facilities within Stark County. Maintenance Technicians p erform basic and routine maintenance and construction activities via ticketing system.

What you'll do:

• Performs basic and routine facilities maintenance, construction, and preventative and repair tasks according to service, quality, and safety standards amongst all facilities, as assigned by ticketing and/or supervisor
• Assists with miscellaneous facility projects; painting, carpentry, drywall, fixture installation, and moving materials and furniture within (or between) facilities
• Conducts routine inspections of premises and equipment at all CommQuest Services locations
• Maintains inventory of CommQuest Services maintenance equipment, ensuring equipment is kept in good, working condition
• Year-round grounds keeping and landscaping (snow removal, mowing, etc.)
• Other duties as assigned

Schedule:

The work schedule is primarily Dayshift, Monday - Friday. Must have availability to accommodate additional evening or weekend hours as needed and requested by the Supervisor or emergency situations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of one-year experience in maintenance services, preferred.
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, and sit for extended periods of time, as required to complete cleaning and maintenance services. Occasional heavy lifting involved.
• Knowledge of hand tools, cleaning equipment, construction, painting supplies and ability to use them safely and appropriately.
• Possesses a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and a driving record that is in compliance with agency insurance requirements.
