Job summary

Regent at Burnsville, a Cassia community, is hiring a Maintenance Technician to join our campus in Burnsville, MN. The role emphasizes proactive upkeep for residents and staff, with hands-on repairs and preventive maintenance in a mission-driven environment.

We offer on-site work Tuesday through Saturday, with on-call duty every 3rd week; shift is days 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Wage range is $22–$26.27 per hour, DOE. High school diploma required, healthcare experience preferred but not necessary.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Prior experience in plumbing, electrical work, HVAC and/or floor care preferred.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred, but not required.
• Able to make repairs inside and outside of building, basic carpentry, basic plumbing, replace light bulbs, filters, etc.
• Able to use basic maintenance tools such as hammer, pliers, screwdriver, drill, etc.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance repairs and projects as needed.
• Follow scheduled preventive maintenance program.
• Respond to maintenance requests by residents and staff.
• Follow-through on projects with little supervision.
• Perform manual tasks and carry out all given job related instructions.
• Keep detailed reports of ongoing and completed projects.
• Perform lawn care and landscaping duties; remove snow and ice from walkways.
• Perform other duties as requested.

As aMaintenance Technician at Regent at Burnsville, you’ll stay active and engaged as you identify maintenance needs, complete hands‑on repairs, and help keep our campus running smoothly for residents and staff. This role allows you to make a direct impact on daily life while building meaningful connections with those who call our community home. If you bring solid mechanical abilities, strong problem‑solving skills, and a customer‑first mindset.

Position Type: This is aFull‑Time, benefit‑eligible position working Tuesday - Saturday and on call every 3rd week Monday-Monday.

Shift Available: Days 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.

Wage Range: $22 - $26.27 / hour depending on experience.
