Navarino Property Management is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to support the daily operations of a multifamily community in Bloomfield, CT. This full-time role offers an hourly wage and requires strong hands-on repair skills and reliability.

The Maintenance Technician will handle resident work orders, perform preventive maintenance, and coordinate with vendors while maintaining accurate records. Flexibility for after-hours on-call rotations is required.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of multifamily/residential maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong hands-on repair and troubleshooting skills.
• Apartment turn experience strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, if required by the property.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders promptly and professionally.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, drywall, and general building issues.
• Complete apartment turns, including painting, repairs, cleaning, and installations.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine property inspections.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized maintenance areas.
• Coordinate with vendors and communicate effectively with the property management team.
• Maintain accurate work-order and service records.
• Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
