Job summary

Envolve Community Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Marshall Apartments in Austin, TX. You will perform general maintenance and repairs with skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry to support residents and the maintenance team.

The role requires experience in plumbing, electrical and carpentry, a commitment to exceptional customer service, and availability for emergency maintenance calls 24/7. Normal hours are typically 8am–5pm, Mon-Fri, with possible overtime.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification preferred but not required.
• 3+ years of Maintenance Technician experience.
• Ability to move heavy equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Repair apartment appliances, water heaters, electrical fixtures, bulbs, sinks and basic carpentry.
• Perform preventive maintenance duties as needed.
• Complete work orders and document maintenance operations.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed.

Currently,Envolve is searching for aMaintenance Technician to work atMarshall Apartments in Austin, TX.TheMaintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs and apply specialized skills in areas such as HVAC, plumbing and electrical as well as assist the Maintenance Supervisor.

Description

The successful candidate must have experience in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. A commitment to exceptional customer service is critical. The Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs and apply specialized skills in areas such as HVAC, plumbing and electrical as well as assist the Maintenance Supervisor.

Duties

• Must possess the ability and tools to repair apartment appliances, water heaters, electrical fixtures, bulbs, commodes, sinks, basic carpentry and any general maintenance repairs that may arise.
• Knowledge to perform preventive maintenance duties as needed.
• Complete work orders and forms to assure all documentation regarding operations of maintenance equipment is completed properly.
• A commitment to exceptional customer service is critical.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate has HVAC certification (preferred but not required)with (3) plus years of Maintenance Technician experience.
• Must be able to move heavy equipment safely, using proper equipment.
• This candidate must be available for emergency maintenance calls 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
• Normal work hours are usually between 8am – 5pm, Mon-Fri (may vary slightly based on season) with occasional overtime required.
• Background Screening and Drug Test Required
