Job summary

Barton Supply in Aurora, CO is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for 2nd shift (1:30pm-10:30pm). You will troubleshoot and maintain industrial machinery, ensuring equipment and facilities are in top condition for the team.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical skills, welding, plumbing, and safety-conscious work. Candidates should have 2–5 years as an Industrial Technician and be able to lift up to 75 pounds and work up to 40 feet high.

Qualifications

• Must have 2–5 years’ experience as an Industrial Technician.
• Welding & fabrication skills including MIG, ARC, OAW.
• Crane repair knowledge or background.
• Written and verbal English.
• Experience with 3 phase power and electrical systems.
• Able to operate inside and outside in hot/cold conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and troubleshoot industrial machinery.
• Repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions.
• Replace parts and components.
• Welding & fabrication tasks (MIG, ARC, OAW).
• Address plumbing leaks and drainage issues.
• Electrical work including 120/240/480V; lockout/tagout as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean working environment.

We are currently hiring anIndustrial Maintenance Mechanicat Barton Supply inAurora, CO for 2nd shift 1:30pm-10:30pm.You will handle the day-to-day trouble shooting and maintenance of industrial machinery. You will be the one to ensure that your colleagues have the best physical resources available to complete their duties. You and the team will keep the equipment, buildings, machinery and the grounds around the building in great shape.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections
• Repairing mechanical and electrical system malfunctions
• Replace parts and components.
• Welding & Fabrication skills including MIG, ARC, OAW
• Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs, and other drainage problems.
• Electrical experience, DC low voltage, 120V, 240V and 480V. A/C including lockout/tagout procedures.
• Interpersonal skills to interact with other employees.
• Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked.

Qualifications:

• Safety Oriented
• Knowledge and/or background in crane repair
• Knowledge C.N.C. (Computer Numerical Control) preferred.
• Written and verbal communication of English language.
• Must have reliable transportation to get to work on time and when needed.
• Experience with 3 phase power
• Experience with V.F.D (Variable Frequency Drives)
• Experience with P.L.C (Programmable Ladder Covers)
• Overhead Crane Experience.
• This position operates in a manufacturing environment. Must be willing and able to work inside and outside, in both hot and cold conditions.
• Ability to be on your feet all day, indoors and outdoors.
• Ability to carry/lift up to 75 pounds on occasion.
• Capable of working 40 feet above the ground (no fear of heights)
• 2-5 years’ experience as an Industrial Technician
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Must be proactive, detail oriented and self-motivated.
