We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair property buildings and grounds, ensure vacant units are ready for occupancy, and support safety and on-call service to residents.

The role requires knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, plus hands-on maintenance experience and reliable use of tools.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance/handyman work.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Ability to follow written or oral instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Repair and upkeep of the property and vacant units.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Ensure necessary tools are on hand and ready.
• Report unusual or extraordinary property conditions.
• Maintain professional appearance and uniform standards.
• Adhere to OSHA standards and safety policies at all times.
• Respond to service requests on a 24-hour basis when needed.
• Secure maintenance areas at end of day, and assist with snow removal.

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician!

Maintenance Technicians Maintain the efficient operation and upkeep of the property buildings and grounds in a supportive role.

Responsibilities include:

• Take responsibility for the daily repair and upkeep of the property and the preparation of vacant units for occupancy
• Maintain and keep an inventory of all supplies and equipment
• Ensure necessary tools are on hand
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents
• Maintain the required property uniform ensuring a professional appearance
• Be aware of and operate within OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times
• Be available to work on an on-call basis
• Secure the maintenance shop(s) at the close of every workday
• Remove snow and ice as necessary
• Handle all lock-outs as a result of evictions and take responsibility for 24-hour response to service requests

Requirements:

• Ability to operate various hand tools including power tools
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
• Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical
• Property maintenance/handyman experience

Compensation:

Full-Time $ 23.00 to $ 25.00 per hour
