Job summary

Brooke Grove Retirement Village, part of the Brooke Grove Foundation, seeks a Maintenance Technician for full-time daytime shifts on-site.

Responsibilities include inspecting and maintaining buildings and equipment, diagnosing issues, and performing preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Qualifications

• One to three years experience in facilities maintenance role.
• High School Diploma is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on buildings and equipment.
• Inspect mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems.
• Lubricate, clean, and replace parts as needed.
• Diagnose issues and determine solutions.
• Repair or replace defective components in various systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify and fix issues.
• Maintain interior and exterior building condition.
• Record maintenance activities and repairs.
• Manage inventory and order parts as needed.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests.
• Participate in on-call rotation outside regular hours.

Responsibilities Of a Maintenance Technician

• Perform Routine Maintenance
  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings and equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC systems, and electrical systems.
  • Lubricate, clean, and replace parts as necessary to maintain equipment in good working condition.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and determine appropriate solutions.
  • Repair or replace defective parts in various systems, including plumbing systems, electrical systems, and HVAC.
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and fix issues.
  • Ensure that the building's interior and exterior are well-maintained.
  • Perform minor construction tasks such as carpentry, painting, and drywall repair.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
  • Monitor and control maintenance inventory, ordering parts and supplies as needed.
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to address urgent issues outside of regular working hours.

Requirements Of a Maintenance Technician
